After witnessing a successful year in 2013, Disney UTV has come up with an incredible line-up of movies. It seems the studio is gunning for an even bigger piece of the box-office pie, with a power-packed slate of releases in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Hollywood. Simultaneously, the company will continue pushing the envelope with concept-driven films showcasing young new talent in front of the camera and behind it.

This year’s slate consists of 14 Hindi releases (ABCD 2 in 3D, Fitoor, Filmistaan, Haider, Heropanti, Highway, Jagga Jasoos, Khoobsurat, Kick, Pizza in 3D, P.K., Phantom, Shatir and Two States), four Tamil films (Anjaan, Naan Sigappu Manithan, Purampokku and Sigaram Thodu), one Telugu film (Untitled Film with Mahesh Babu) and seven Hollywood releases (Saving Mr. Banks, Captain America: The Winter Soldier 3D, Into the Woods, Maleficent, Million Dollar Arm, Planes 2 – Fire & Rescue 3D, Guardians Of The Galaxy 3D).

When we asked Amrita Pandey, Vice-President and Head, Theatrical, Television & Digital Distribution – Studio, Disney UTV about their slate, she said, “Disney UTV has produced some of the most trend-setting and cult movies of the past decade and we are confident that our upcoming releases will keep the same tradition alive. Our foremost effort is to ensure that we bring our audiences great stories that are original, innovative and delivered by the best talent in the business. We are delighted to associate with some of the most talented names in the industry – established names and debutants – to deliver a slate of movies that will entertain audiences of all ages and tastes.”
